Expanded Scope and Team Updates - Sustainability Division

We’re pleased to share several key developments within the Sustainability Division that reflect our evolving strategic direction and growing commitment to aligning sustainability, brand integrity, and culture as one cohesive narrative.

Expanded Leadership Scope for Tan Chee Yong

We’re pleased to share that Tan Chee Yong’s role has been expanded from Head of Global Sustainability to Head of Global Sustainability, Brand & Culture. Chee Yong has been a driving force in embedding sustainability at the heart of Q Collection’s operations and brand, leading the Company’s first Sustainability Report and spearheading initiatives like The Green Thread framework. He also provides governance and oversight for key sustainability initiatives across the Group, including compliance, risk management, and strategic alignment with global ESG standards.

In his expanded role, Chee Yong will align ESG branding, culture, and communication across the Group to ensure sustainability is authentically integrated into how Q shows up internally and externally. His strategic leadership and grounded approach will continue to guide Q Collection’s evolution into a trusted and value-driven manufacturing group.

All key leaders - Joseff Manto, Susmita Das, Nashirul Islam, Tauhidul Islam, and Ahammed Ali in the division, will continue to report directly to Chee Yong.

Promotion and Expanded Role for Joseff Manto

We are pleased to share that Joseff Manto has been promoted to Manager – Sustainability Engagement & People Excellence. Joseff will continue to lead our People Sustainability efforts - ranging from employee engagement and capability building to internal culture transformation - across all our manufacturing locations.

In terms of team structure, Snr Exec/Jannatul Ferdoush Oishe, Exec/Amena Khatun Shila, and Exec/ Farzana Akhter in Bangladesh will continue reporting directly to Joseff, supporting the roll-out of People Sustainability initiatives on the ground. Additionally, HR Exec/Alene (Singapore) will also support this function alongside her existing HR responsibilities, helping to ensure continuity and cross-regional coordination.

As part of her expanded scope, Joseff will now also oversee Corporate Branding and Communication execution under Corporate Sustainability. This transition ensures stronger alignment with the Company’s evolving direction, where maintaining a strong and consistent brand image is essential in positioning Q as a trusted, purpose-led manufacturer. Musaddique Ur Rahman Mubeen, our new Executive – Branding & Communication, will report directly to Joseff. A full-time Graphic Designer in Q Singapore will also be onboarded shortly to support design needs across the organization.

Re-designation of Susmita Das

We are pleased to share that Susmita Das has been redesignated as Manager – Group Oversight and Compliance, Corporate Sustainability. In this role, Susmita will lead end-to-end compliance and risk oversight across Q Collection’s manufacturing clusters, including operations in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Morocco. She will oversee regulatory licensing, stakeholder engagement, investor and certification compliance (including ESAP), as well as the development of compliance dashboards and internal reporting structures. Exec/Sharamon Nowshin Hriddhee will continue reporting directly to Susmita.

Re-designation of Nashirul Islam

Nashirul Islam has been redesignated as Senior Lead – ESHS (Sustainability Assurance & Circularity). He is now driving the implementation of the ESG digitization tool (Sattva) and working closely with Prithu’s team on Supply Chain Sustainability and Audits. He will lead our circularity agenda across product design, sourcing, and end-of-life; enhance traceability through supply chain transparency and material origin verification; and embed EU CSDDD compliance into operations and supplier due diligence.

In light of the increasing scope of external supply chain audits and sustainability assurance, we are setting up this team to provide dedicated support in these areas. Moving forward, Nashirul and team will oversee all internal audits as well.

Looking Ahead

Thank you for being part of this journey. These changes mark an important step in how we lead with greater intention—deepening trust, strengthening our culture, and shaping a future that reflects who we are and what we stand for at Q Collection.
