Q Collection Expands With Sri Lanka Acquisition

We are pleased to formally announce the successful completion of a strategic acquisition of two manufacturing facilities and a warehouse property in Sri Lanka from Hela Apparel Holdings PLC with total investment of US$ 9 million.

With the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) signed, the first tranche of payments completed, and share transfers executed, Q Collection (Q) has officially assumed full management control of the acquired entities. This marks a significant milestone in our global expansion and reinforces our commitment to building a truly international manufacturing network rooted in operational excellence and sustainable practices.

Founded over three decades ago in Bangladesh, Q has evolved from a regional manufacturer into a trusted global supplier, specializing in knitwear, intimate wear, and activewear. The acquisition of facilities in Narammala and Mawathagama will enable us to diversify our production base while accessing Sri Lanka's renowned expertise in high-end intimate wear manufacturing. By partnering with Hela's exceptional team and experienced workforce in fully operational facilities, we are now positioned to deliver world-class intimate wear, activewear, and children's wear from Sri Lanka. Bangladesh - Offshore, High-Volume Operations. Our backbone facility continues to provide cost-effective, large-scale production with established backward linkages and skilled workforce.

Sri Lanka - Specialized Premium Manufacturing. Our newest facilities focus on high-end intimate wear and premium products, leveraging country's reputation for quality and craftsmanship.

Morocco - Nearshore Operations. Our upcoming knitwear facility in Morocco, set to begin operations in October 2025, will ensure faster lead times and value-driven production for European and North American markets.
