Q Collection featured in Season 2 of Fashion Futures

On September 25, the Singapore Fashion Council launched Season 2 of Fashion Futures 2025. This year's iteration highlighted four key themes in a rapidly changing fashion landscape – Circular economy, materials and textile innovation, digitalization, and talent and skills.

Held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore, the event gathered forward-thinking industry leaders where they ideated what a thriving and sustainable fashion scene for the future looked like. Q Collection was selected, and spotlighted, as a future-ready manufacturer that employed innovative and digital solutions that address environmental and social challenges.

In preparation for this event, and true to Q Collection’s spirit of excellence, we pulled out all the stops as we made special arrangements for the filming to be carried out across Singapore, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in a tight timeframe. Catering for all three locations allowed us to better showcase our capabilities, commitments and of course, our diverse communities.

In this documentary-style video, we heard from our key leadership such as Soukaina Faruq (Director of HR and Sustainability), Warisul Abid (Chief People and Sustainability Officer), and Chee Yong Tan (Head of Global Sustainability, Brand and Culture). Through on-site scenes of our facilities, we highlighted our integration of new technology such as rainwater harvesting systems, Lectra cutting machines, and our ESG data management and compliance tracking application, SATTVA. Subsequently, we also featured our new first-of-its-kind medical facility, Q Care, and how it aligned with Q Collection’s long-term vision that is rooted in care for both the planet and our people.

We took the opportunity to hear from Soukaina Faruq, Director of Q Collection. When queried on the origins of Q Collection’s sustainability initiatives, she explained:

“It was more the thinking of doing good, rather than looking at it as a sustainability practice.”

She reinforced the company’s vision and commitment to human-centric, innovative sustainable manufacturing.

This feature on Fashion Futures 2025, in collaboration with the Singapore Fashion Council and ASN Media, reaffirms Q Collection’s position as trailblazers in the sprint towards a future where circular fashion never goes out of style.
