We are proud to announce that the Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) of both SQ Hues Ltd. and SQ Celsius Ltd. Unit 1– two of Q Collection’s flagship manufacturing facilities – have been awarded the highest “Green” rating in H&M’s Wastewater Assessment Program, conducted by their technical partner Bluwin and Kingsley.
This prestigious rating, reflecting our continued commitment to responsible water management and environmental stewardship, is the top-tier classification in H&M’s comprehensive evaluation of wastewater management performance across its global supply chain. It assesses everything from chemical oxygen demand (COD) levels and sludge handling to chemical use, water recycling, and overall system efficiency. Receiving this Green rating signifies that our facilities not only meet industry expectations but operates at a level of excellence across design, function and team capability.
What earned us the Green rating?
• Design Integrity
Our ETPs are built to last with infrastructure that meets all the technical design requirements set by H&M and engineered with the appropriate capacity and supported by robust environmental design calculations, ensuring alignment with the highest industry standards.
• Operational Performance
Performance isn’t just on paper – it’s in the process. Our wastewater treatment systems operate efficiently and consistently, with treated water staying well within the strict discharge limits. Routine monitoring and optimization ensure that every drop of water released is safe for the environment.
• Team Competency
Behind every high-performing system is a high-performing team. Our dedicated ETP personnel demonstrated excellence in core areas, including wastewater chemistry, system troubleshooting, and hands-on operations. H&M’s spot evaluations confirmed not only the educational and experiential strength of our teams, but their readiness to uphold and exceed expectations on the ground.
